Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised styling consultations that help customers discover and integrate Kate Spade products into their wardrobe, creating complete looks and suggesting add-ons.
- Greet guests warmly, demonstrate authoritative product knowledge across categories, and use storytelling to drive engagement and conversions.
- Execute the sales process from clienteling through a seamless checkout experience, including POS transactions and returns handling.
- Showcase multiple ways to wear product assortments through visual merchandising on the sales floor and proactive styling demonstrations.
- Maintain operational excellence: stockroom organisation, inventory replenishment, loss-prevention and adherence to visual standards.
- Adopt omnichannel selling behaviours (virtual selling, social media engagement) and support brand-led promotional activity and busy-season initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior retail experience in a customer-facing environment.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise responsibilities and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, public holidays and peak retail periods.
- Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), and to climb, bend, kneel and safely manoeuvre the sales floor and stockroom.
Skills
Experience
Prior experience in retail sales with demonstrable customer-facing, styling or advisory responsibilities; evidence of meeting sales targets and delivering high-quality client experiences is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; coursework or certification in retail, visual merchandising or fashion styling is advantageous.
