Kate Spade seeks a part-time Retail Stylist in Aurora, IL (Chicago Premium Outlets) to deliver styling, sales and exceptional client service.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Welcome and engage guests with confident product knowledge and a warm, service-oriented approach.
  • Conduct in-store styling consultations to create complete looks, recommend add-ons and demonstrate multiple ways to wear product.
  • Drive sales through storytelling, relationship building and proactive follow-up to encourage repeat visits.
  • Execute transactions and maintain operational excellence at the POS, including accurate checkout and returns handling.
  • Maintain stockroom organization, replenish the sales floor and support inventory and loss-prevention practices.
  • Adopt omni-channel selling techniques and social media awareness to support virtual or remote client interactions.
  • Work flexible retail hours, including nights, weekends, holidays and peak season events.

Qualifications

  • Professional selling skills with strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Prior experience in a retail or customer-facing sales environment preferred.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Comfort with omni-channel selling and willingness to learn virtual selling tools and social platforms.
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and perform physical tasks on the sales floor and in the stockroom.

Experience

Prior retail or customer-facing sales experience is preferred; proven ability to meet sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service is advantageous.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
