Kate Spade is seeking a Retail Stylist to advise customers on product selection and personal style, create complete looks, and deliver a seamless purchasing experience. The role also supports sales results, product knowledge, stockroom organization, and POS transactions; it is a temporary, part-time position with a flexible schedule. Base pay is $15.00–$19.50 per hour.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and demonstrate strong product knowledge.
- Listen actively and ask thoughtful follow-up questions to understand customer needs.
- Provide styling advice, recommend add-on products, and create complete looks.
- Show creative ways to wear products and encourage customers to explore new styles.
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and provide a seamless checkout experience.
- Reinforce customers’ choices and encourage them to return.
- Drive sales results through strong customer connections and storytelling.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Kate Spade and product attributes across all categories.
- Maintain operational excellence, including stockroom organization and POS transactions.
- Give and receive feedback honestly and constructively.
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills and exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior experience in a retail environment.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and collaborate in a team setting.
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques.
- English proficiency or proficiency in the local market language.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, busy season, and high-traffic retail days, including public holidays.
- Ability to regularly lift at least 25 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.; ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom.
