Kate Spade is hiring a Store Leader in New York, NY to lead boutique operations, drive sales and develop a high-performing retail team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead store performance to meet and exceed sales, margin and KPI targets through inspirational leadership and disciplined execution.
- Manage day-to-day store operations, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, visual merchandising, inventory control and loss-prevention.
- Coach, develop and roster a high-performing sales team; conduct recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews and ongoing training in clienteling and product knowledge.
- Deliver exceptional client experiences through active selling, VIP servicing and omnichannel fulfilment (in-store pickup, returns and click-and-collect coordination).
- Implement and maintain brand visual standards and merchandising directives; planograms, window displays and seasonal resets.
- Analyse sales data and reporting to build action plans, optimise staffing, and manage stock allocation and replenishment with the regional office.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations and statutory requirements.
Qualifications
- Proven retail management experience, preferably within luxury, contemporary or specialty retail environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams, with strong people-management and coaching skills.
- Commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting and achieving sales targets.
- Excellent customer service orientation and aptitude for high-touch clienteling.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to operational detail.
