Kate Spade in New York seeks a Sales Support Associate to support store operations, client service and inventory management.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide front-line sales support and exceptional client service in accordance with brand standards, assisting clients with product selection, special orders and after-sales care.
  • Support store operations including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, point-of-sale transactions and reconciliation.
  • Execute inventory activities: receiving, stock replenishment, cycle counts and coordination of stock transfers with regional operations.
  • Assist with visual merchandising tasks and maintenance of presentation standards on the sales floor and in window displays.
  • Process returns, exchanges and repairs following company policies and liaise with e-commerce/central teams for order resolution.
  • Prepare daily and weekly sales reports, track KPIs and escalate anomalies to store management.
  • Coordinate with store management and corporate teams to support training, events and product launches.
  • Maintain compliance with loss-prevention procedures and ensure a secure, organized stockroom environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational certificate or associate degree in retail, hospitality or business preferred.
  • 2+ years of retail or sales support experience, ideally within fashion, accessories or a luxury brand environment.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-calibre client service with polished interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Accurate cash-handling and point-of-sale experience; strong numeracy and attention to detail.
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and peak selling periods; ability to travel between stores if required.

Experience
