Kate Spade is hiring a Sales Associate in New York, NY to deliver boutique-level client service and drive sales for the brand.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalized client service consistent with Kate Spade’s brand tone; cultivate repeat clientele through proactive clienteling and follow-up.
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets through product expertise, suggestive selling and relationship building.
- Maintain boutique standards for visual merchandising, housekeeping and presentation to reflect seasonal directives and brand guidelines.
- Operate point-of-sale systems accurately, manage cash and card transactions, and ensure compliance with loss-prevention procedures.
- Support inventory processes including receiving, tagging, stock counts and replenishment; escalate shortages or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with store leadership on promotions, events and local marketing initiatives; mentor and support junior colleagues as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of retail sales experience, preferably within fashion, accessories or luxury segments.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and delivering high levels of client satisfaction.
- Flexible schedule availability including evenings, weekends and peak retail periods.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States (if applicable to the posted location).

Typically requires at least two years of hands-on retail experience, with prior exposure to fashion or luxury retail environments and measurable sales performance.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or retail/merchandising coursework preferred.
