Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome and build rapport with guests; deliver personalised styling advice to help customers discover and express their personal aesthetic.
- Drive sales through consultative selling, story-telling and recommended add-ons to create complete looks.
- Demonstrate deep product knowledge across categories and showcase multiple ways to wear and integrate Kate Spade merchandise.
- Execute smooth point-of-sale transactions and maintain operational excellence, including stockroom organisation and visual standards.
- Adopt omni-channel selling practices and support virtual selling or social media-driven customer engagement when required.
- Reinforce positive customer experiences to encourage retention and repeat visits.
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with excellent interpersonal and verbal communication abilities.
- Prior retail experience demonstrating customer-facing sales and styling competency.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritise and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Social media awareness and a willingness to learn omnichannel and virtual selling techniques.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
- Ability to lift routinely at least 25 lbs (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and perform physical tasks on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
Skills
Experience
Prior experience in a retail environment with demonstrated professional selling skills and a track record of delivering customer-focused styling or consultative sales.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational study or coursework in fashion, retail or visual merchandising is a plus.

Compensation
