The Retail Sales Associate at Kate Spade serves as a knowledgeable styling advisor, helps customers express their personal style, and supports sales through customer connections and product storytelling. The role also maintains stockroom and point-of-sale operations and requires a flexible schedule; it is part-time and temporary.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome customers warmly and confidently, demonstrating strong product knowledge.
- Listen actively and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer needs.
- Provide styling advice, suggest add-on products, and create complete looks.
- Show customers creative ways to wear products and encourage them to explore new styles.
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience.
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices, encouraging them to return.
- Drive results through strong customer connections and storytelling.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Kate Spade and product attributes across all categories.
- Maintain operational excellence, including stockroom organization and point-of-sale transactions.

Qualifications
- Professional selling skills, with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Previous experience in a retail environment.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and collaborate within a team.
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omnichannel and virtual selling techniques.
- English proficiency, or proficiency in the local market language.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, busy seasons, and high-traffic retail days such as public holidays.
- Ability to regularly lift at least 25 lbs and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs, as well as climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
