Kate Spade in New York seeks a Temporary Retail Associate to deliver elevated customer service and support store operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional, personalised service to clients to maximise conversion and foster repeat business.
  • Operate the point-of-sale system accurately, process transactions and handle cash/cards in accordance with store procedures.
  • Support visual merchandising standards and maintain a polished, on-brand sales floor presentation.
  • Assist with inventory activities including receiving, stock replenishment and cycle counts.
  • Execute clienteling activities such as following up with customers, managing reservations, and supporting private appointments or events.
  • Uphold loss-prevention policies, maintain store security awareness and report discrepancies.
  • Support daily store operations including opening/closing procedures and ad-hoc administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset and polished presentation.
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holiday periods.
  • Ability to operate POS systems and perform basic cash handling accurately.

  • Physical stamina for retail duties, including standing for extended periods and occasional light lifting.
