Kate Spade is hiring a Store Leader in New York, NY — lead sales, operations and team development for a boutique role.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead all day-to-day store operations to achieve and exceed sales targets, KPIs and profitability goals.
  • Recruit, coach and develop a high-performing store team; set clear performance expectations and conduct regular feedback and evaluations.
  • Deliver an exceptional client experience through coaching on service standards, clienteling and personalised selling techniques.
  • Maintain visual merchandising and brand standards; implement seasonal floor sets and local merchandising directives.
  • Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, receiving, and loss-prevention protocols to protect margin.
  • Manage store P&L responsibilities including payroll, scheduling, expense control and local sales forecasting.
  • Execute local marketing, CRM initiatives and client events to grow customer acquisition and retention.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations and corporate governance requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver regular operational and sales reports to regional leadership; analyse KPIs to drive corrective action.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience in retail management, preferably within premium or luxury fashion environments.
  • Demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing store financials.
  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
  • Strong organisational aptitude with experience in inventory control and loss-prevention practices.
  • Flexible availability to work retail hours, including weekends, evenings and public holidays.
  • Right to work in the United States (or host country) required.
