Kate Spade seeks a Sales Associate in New York, NY to deliver luxury client service and drive retail sales for the brand.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver high-touch, personalised customer service and build lasting client relationships through proactive clienteling and follow-up.
- Consistently achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets and KPIs through consultative selling and product storytelling.
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge across categories and communicate brand heritage and craftsmanship to customers.
- Operate the point-of-sale system accurately, process transactions, returns and exchanges, and perform cash handling procedures.
- Execute visual merchandising, ensure floor readiness, replenish stock, and uphold brand presentation and housekeeping standards.
- Support store events, private appointments and promotional activities; collaborate with the team to optimise customer flow and conversion.
- Adhere to loss-prevention, safety and operational procedures to protect inventory and maintain compliance.
Qualifications
- Proven retail sales experience; prior luxury or premium fashion experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and deliver consultative customer service.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with polished client-facing presence.
- Numeracy and accurate cash-handling skills; comfort using POS systems and performing end-of-day procedures.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holiday periods.
- Legal right to work in the country of employment.
