Kate Spade in New York is hiring a Retail Associate (Associate III) to deliver luxury client service and drive boutique sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised, high-touch client service to cultivate long-term relationships and maximise lifetime value.
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets through proactive outreach and consultative selling.
- Manage daily boutique operations including opening/closing procedures, point-of-sale transactions and cash handling.
- Execute visual merchandising directives to maintain brand standards and elevate in-store presentation.
- Maintain product knowledge across seasonal collections and communicate arrivals, features and care guidance to clients.
- Operate inventory processes: receiving, stock replenishment, cycle counts and discrepancy resolution.
- Utilise clienteling techniques and CRM tools to schedule appointments, track preferences and follow up on leads.
- Support after-sales service, including returns, repairs coordination and shipment enquiries, to ensure client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years' experience in luxury or premium retail sales with demonstrable revenue contribution.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a boutique or department store environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a customer-first mindset with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- High level of numeracy and accuracy for POS transactions and daily reconciliation.
- Flexibility to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and seasonal peaks.
- Legal authorization to work in the country of employment.

Experience
At least 2 years of client-facing experience in luxury or premium retail, with documented sales results and experience using clienteling/CRM processes.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational qualifications or retail/fashion training preferred.
