Kate Spade in New York, NY seeks a Sales Associate III to deliver luxury retail client service and drive sales.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional, personalised client service to cultivate long-term relationships and drive repeat business.
  • Achieve individual and store sales targets through proactive clienteling, product knowledge and upselling.
  • Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately, process transactions, returns and exchanges, and handle cash and multi‑currency payments.
  • Maintain merchandising standards and visual presentation to brand guidelines; execute floor sets and replenishment.
  • Support inventory control, incoming stock processing, cycle counts and loss‑prevention procedures.
  • Contribute to CRM activities including collecting client data, following up on leads and coordinating private appointments or events.
  • Collaborate with store leadership on daily priorities, team selling and customer recovery when required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary credentials in fashion, retail or business preferred.
  • Demonstrable experience in luxury or premium retail environments (preferably 2+ years).
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and delivering high‑value client experiences.
  • Strong numeracy with experience handling cash, POS transactions and basic sales reporting.
  • Flexible availability including weekends, evenings and peak retail periods.

Experience
