Kate Spade seeks a Sales Associate in New York, NY to deliver luxury client service and drive in-store sales.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exemplary client service through personalised clienteling, product storytelling and attentive after-sales care to cultivate long-term relationships and repeat business.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets and KPIs through proactive selling, upselling and cross-selling of handbags, accessories and apparel.
  • Maintain visual merchandising and product presentation to brand standards, including window displays, floor sets and replenishment.
  • Operate point-of-sale and omnichannel systems for transactions, returns, exchanges and ship-from-store/ship-to-store fulfilment.
  • Manage stockroom operations: receive and process deliveries, perform regular inventory counts and support loss-prevention procedures.
  • Support store management with daily opening/closing duties, staff communication, sales reporting and execution of promotional events.
  • Participate in client events and trunk shows, assisting with styling, inventory selection and bespoke client experiences.

Qualifications

  • Proven retail sales experience; 2+ years in premium or luxury retail preferred.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for high-quality client service and relationship building.
  • Strong numeracy and cash-handling accuracy; comfortable operating POS and omnichannel retail tools.
  • Ability to maintain brand presentation standards and execute visual merchandising directives.
  • Flexible availability including weekends, evenings and peak seasonal periods; must be able to support in-store events.

Experience
