Kate Spade in New York seeks a Lead Supervisor to drive sales, coach staff and deliver elevated client experiences in a luxury retail boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead daily store operations to ensure exceptional client experiences, consistent brand presentation and adherence to loss-prevention protocols.
- Coach, develop and motivate the sales team through targeted feedback, performance reviews and in-store training to achieve sales KPIs and conversion targets.
- Drive visual merchandising standards and seasonal floor sets in partnership with the regional visual team to maximize product storytelling and sell-through.
- Oversee inventory control including receiving, stock replenishment, cycle counts and exception reporting to maintain margin and availability.
- Manage clienteling activities and CRM utilisation to cultivate long-term relationships, personalised outreach and repeat business.
- Act as on-site escalation for complex client situations, returns and operational incidents, liaising with regional management as required.
- Prepare daily and weekly sales reports, forecast staffing needs and optimise scheduling to meet sales volume and service standards.
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory experience in retail, preferably within premium or luxury fashion (typically 2+ years in a lead/supervisory capacity).
- Demonstrable track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and developing direct reports.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing inventory, merchandising and KPI-driven workflows.
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills, with polished client-facing presence appropriate for a luxury brand.
- Legal right to work in the hiring country and availability to work flexible retail hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Typically 2+ years of supervisory experience in retail, with preference for candidates who have worked in fashion or luxury brand environments and who have demonstrated success in driving sales, coaching teams and managing store operations.
Education
