Kate Spade in New York seeks a Store Supervisor to lead store operations, sales and team performance.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day store operations including staff supervision, opening/closing procedures, and cash handling.
  • Drive sales performance and meet established KPIs through coaching, visual merchandising, and floor presence.
  • Coach, mentor and develop sales associates to deliver elevated customer service and individual targets.
  • Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, receiving and cycle counts to optimize availability and minimize shrink.
  • Execute brand merchandising standards and seasonal floor sets to maximize conversion and average transaction value.
  • Create staff schedules, manage labor costs and ensure compliance with company policies and loss-prevention procedures.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers to resolve escalated issues and cultivate long-term client relationships.
  • Collaborate with district management on promotional activity, reporting and operational initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years supervisory or lead experience in retail, preferably within apparel, accessories, or premium/luxury brands.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving team performance.
  • Strong leadership, coaching and conflict-resolution skills with the ability to motivate a diverse retail team.
  • Solid numeracy for cash reconciliation, basic P&L awareness and inventory reporting.
  • Availability to work flexible retail hours including nights, weekends and peak holiday periods.
  • Right to work in the United States.

Experience
