Role & Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day store operations in the absence of the Store Leader, ensuring operational excellence and adherence to company policies.
- Drive and exceed sales targets through coaching, performance management and hands-on selling.
- Recruit, coach and develop store team members; deliver one-to-one feedback and regular performance conversations.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure floor-readiness aligned with seasonal directives.
- Manage inventory, stockroom organisation, receiving, replenishment and loss-prevention procedures.
- Oversee scheduling, payroll accuracy and labour optimisation to meet operational needs.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, resolve escalated client issues and build lasting client relationships.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, cash-handling and local regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory or assistant manager experience in fashion, accessories or lifestyle retail (in-store).
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets and driving team performance.
- Strong coaching, delegation and conflict-resolution capabilities.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally; capable of climbing, bending and prolonged standing.
- Flexible availability including weekends, evenings and statutory holidays; eligible to work in Canada.
Skills
Experience
At least 2 years of progressive retail supervisory experience within fashion, accessories or lifestyle brands, with demonstrable success in sales leadership, team development and operational management.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in retail management, business or fashion preferred.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada, with easy access to Vancouver.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 25 to CAD 40 per hour.
