Role & Responsibilities
- Lead sales, operations and people across stores in the designated district to maximize profitability and achieve corporate sales and margin targets.
- Ensure full compliance with local lease, statutory and company policies; maintain high standards on all corporate and local audits.
- Manage payroll, labour productivity and personnel administration, ensuring Time & Attendance and HR paperwork (hires, terminations, status changes) are timely and accurate.
- Drive inventory control and shrinkage reduction initiatives; oversee maintenance of accurate inventory records.
- Own merchandise presentation and assortment execution across district; supervise Visual Manager and ensure store displays reflect Kate Spade direction.
- Partner with Store Managers to set and achieve sales goals; role model exceptional customer service and recognise high performers.
- Implement performance management processes for the area, including goal setting, reviews and disciplinary actions.
- Develop market insight and influence local assortments, pricing strategies and visual merchandising standards tailored to the market.
- Coach, develop and delegate to Store Managers and Store In Charges to build leadership capability and consistent operational practices.
- Create systematic reporting on macro trends (real estate development, trading conditions, competitive activity, travel patterns) and share best practices across divisions.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years progressive retail management experience, including multi‑unit or district responsibility.
- Proven track record of delivering sales growth, margin improvement and cost control in a specialty or fashion retail environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage P&L, payroll and operational KPIs.
- Strong leadership skills with experience coaching, developing and managing store managers and management teams.
- Practical knowledge of visual merchandising, inventory control and shrinkage prevention.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to present market insights and influence cross‑functional stakeholders.

Experience
At least five years of progressive experience in retail management with demonstrated multi‑store leadership; proven success driving sales, margin and operational efficiencies in specialty fashion retail.
Education
Bachelor’s degree preferred; diploma or equivalent combined with substantial retail leadership experience will be considered.

The successful candidate will be located in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia, with easy access to Kuala Lumpur.
