Kate Spade in New York, NY seeks a Sales Associate to deliver luxury retail service, clienteling and merchandising in a boutique environment.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional, personalised client service and build lasting relationships through proactive clienteling and follow-up.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets through consultative selling and product expertise.
  • Maintain boutique presentation and visual merchandising to brand standards, ensuring a compelling customer experience.
  • Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately; process transactions, returns and exchanges; and handle cash responsibly.
  • Support inventory management activities including stock replenishment, receiving, and regular stock counts.
  • Respond professionally to customer enquiries and resolve service issues while escalating complex cases to management.
  • Support in-store events, product launches and client outreach activities as required.

Qualifications

  • Previous retail experience, preferably 1–2 years in luxury, premium or contemporary fashion accessories.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships and to deliver personalised service.
  • Strong communication skills, professional presentation and a customer-first attitude.
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and peak retail periods.
  • Right to work in the United States (local work authorization required).

Experience
