Kate Spade in New York City is hiring a Sales Support Associate to deliver luxury client service and support store operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality client service across sales channels, executing seamless in-store and post‑sale experiences including returns, exchanges and follow-up communications.
- Support daily store operations: process transactions, manage stock replenishment, conduct inventory counts and coordinate visual merchandising standards.
- Maintain and update clienteling and CRM records to cultivate repeat business and personalised outreach.
- Prepare and deliver sales reporting and performance metrics to store leadership; assist with KPI tracking and corrective action plans.
- Serve as first point of escalation for complex customer enquiries and liaise with regional operations, e‑commerce and distribution teams to resolve issues.
- Coach and mentor junior sales colleagues on product knowledge, clienteling techniques and POS procedures when required.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in retail customer service, ideally within premium or luxury fashion.
- Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with strong clienteling and relationship‑building ability.
- Demonstrable numeracy and attention to detail for cash handling, stock reconciliation and sales reporting.
- Ability to work flexible retail hours, including evenings, weekends and peak seasonal periods.
- Professional presentation and a strong alignment with the Kate Spade brand aesthetic and customer experience standards.

Experience
Typically 3+ years of progressive experience in retail sales or sales support roles, preferably within premium or luxury fashion brands; experience with clienteling and CRM-driven sales strategies is expected.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business, retail management or a related field preferred.
