Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalized service to clients on the sales floor and via inbound customer enquiries, maintaining brand-standard hospitality at all times.
- Support the sales team by processing transactions, managing returns and exchanges, and maintaining accurate point-of-sale and CRM records.
- Execute visual merchandising standards: restock, fold and present merchandise, implement seasonal floor moves and ensure brand presentation is immaculate.
- Assist with inventory management activities including receiving shipments, cycle counts and replenishment to optimise product availability.
- Perform opening and closing procedures, maintain loss-prevention protocols and contribute to store housekeeping and safety standards.
- Collaborate with store leadership to meet daily sales targets, participate in clienteling initiatives and support events or private appointments as required.
Qualifications
- Proven aptitude for client-facing retail or hospitality roles; minimum of 1 year preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a polished, service-first demeanour.
- Strong numeracy and cash-handling accuracy; ability to operate POS systems reliably.
- Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings and peak seasonal periods.
- Ability to lift and move merchandise (typically up to 20 kg) and to perform standing or light physical tasks for extended periods.
Skills
Experience
Preferably at least one year of retail or client-service experience, ideally within fashion, accessories or luxury brands. Experience with luxury clienteling, POS systems and merchandising is an advantage.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary coursework in retail, fashion, hospitality or a related discipline is a plus.
