Kate Spade in Auburn Hills, MI seeks a Part-time Sales Associate — customer-focused stylist with retail experience. Pay $15.00–$19.50/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted style advisor: greet customers, assess needs, and deliver personalised styling recommendations that translate Kate Spade product attributes into complete looks.
- Drive sales through consultative selling and storytelling; suggest add-ons and alternate ways to wear products to maximise basket size.
- Deliver exceptional customer service at every touchpoint, ensuring a seamless in-store and checkout experience.
- Support omni-channel selling efforts, including virtual appointments and social media engagement to extend the customer relationship beyond the sales floor.
- Maintain operational standards: organise the sales floor and stockroom, execute accurate POS transactions, manage replenishment and visual presentation.
- Contribute to team performance by giving and receiving constructive feedback and participating in store initiatives and events.
- Adhere to loss-prevention, health & safety, and ADA accommodation procedures; perform physical tasks including lifting up to 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally).
- Work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak retail periods and public holidays to meet business needs.
Qualifications
- Proven professional selling skills with strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior retail experience preferred, ideally within fashion or lifestyle brands.
- Comfortable multitasking, prioritising and collaborating within a fast-paced team environment.
- Proficiency in English and the ability to communicate brand and product stories clearly.
- Willingness to learn omni-channel/virtual selling techniques and engage with customers via social media.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and perform physical tasks associated with retail operations.
Skills
Experience
Prior experience in a retail environment is preferred. Demonstrated success in consultative selling, styling or client-facing roles within fashion or lifestyle retail is an advantage.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; coursework or credentials in retail, visual merchandising or fashion are a plus.

The successful candidate will be located in Auburn Hills, Michigan, USA, with easy access to Detroit.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
