Kate Spade in New York is hiring a Store Supervisor to lead store teams, drive sales and ensure outstanding client service.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve daily and monthly sales targets and KPIs.
  • Coach and develop associates through on-the-floor training, performance feedback and structured coaching conversations.
  • Deliver exceptional clienteling and customer service standards, resolving escalated client issues with diplomacy.
  • Oversee daily store operations including cash handling, opening/closing procedures, shift scheduling and loss-prevention practices.
  • Execute visual merchandising and product presentation to brand standards and support merchandising resets and launches.
  • Manage inventory activities such as stock replenishment, cycle counts and receiving to maintain merchandise integrity.
  • Produce routine sales and operational reports and communicate insights to store management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in retail; luxury or premium fashion retail preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead a small retail team and drive measurable sales performance.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused mindset.
  • Demonstrated competence in cash handling, inventory control and loss-prevention procedures.
  • Flexible availability including weekends, evenings and public holidays as required by retail hours.

Experience
