Kate Spade in Sunbury, Ohio is hiring a Part-time Sales Associate (Stylist) — $15–$19.50/hr; customer styling, POS, flexible schedule.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage guests confidently, demonstrating deep product knowledge and brand storytelling.
- Actively listen and ask targeted questions to identify customer needs and personal style preferences.
- Provide personalised styling advice, assemble complete looks and recommend complementary items to increase basket size.
- Demonstrate multiple ways to wear and integrate products, using creativity to inspire customers and encourage exploration.
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure efficient, accurate POS transactions and checkout.
- Maintain sales floor and stockroom organisation, perform inventory tasks and support visual merchandising standards.
- Drive sales results through relationship-building, storytelling and follow-up to encourage repeat visits.
- Work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays to meet peak retail demand; perform occasional physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications
- Proven professional selling skills and excellent interpersonal communication.
- Previous retail sales experience; experience in fashion, accessories or premium lifestyle brands preferred.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni/virtual selling techniques.
- English proficiency (or local language proficiency as applicable in market).
Skills
Experience
Prior experience in a retail environment is required; experience within fashion, accessories, or premium lifestyle retail is strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in fashion, merchandising or business is a plus.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
