Kate Spade New York seeks a Temporary Stylist at Ontario Mills. Part-time retail role offering $15–$24.25/hour, benefits, and styling-focused customer engagement.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and confidently, demonstrating strong product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
  • Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer needs and preferences
  • Provide personalized styling advice, suggest complementary products, and create coordinated complete looks
  • Showcase multiple ways to wear products through creative styling to encourage customer exploration
  • Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure seamless checkout experiences
  • Reinforce and celebrate customer choices, fostering loyalty and encouraging repeat visits
  • Drive sales results through authentic customer connections and compelling brand storytelling
  • Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, inventory management, and point-of-sale transactions
  • Demonstrate proficiency with omni-channel and virtual selling techniques, leveraging social media awareness
  • Work flexibly across various shifts including nights, weekends, and peak retail periods to meet business demands

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a retail environment with demonstrated professional selling skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and collaborate effectively within a team setting
  • Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
  • English proficiency (or local language proficiency per market)
  • Physical ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom areas

Experience
