Role & Responsibilities
- Model Kate Spade service behaviors and selling standards, leading a high-energy, client-focused environment on the sales floor
- Drive omni-channel and virtual selling initiatives; ensure effective clienteling through client books, outreach programs, and loyalty programs
- Empower team members to personalize customer experiences and resolve service issues effectively
- Lead customer data capture initiatives to support marketing campaigns and repeat business development
- Recruit, onboard, and develop diverse talent; provide coaching and manage performance issues
- Set clear performance goals, review KPIs including traffic, conversion, UPT, and AUR, and coach the team toward results
- Act as Store Leader in their absence; foster an inclusive and motivating team culture
- Build community networks to support recruitment efforts and enhance brand awareness
- Own store sales plans and forecasts; create action plans to address business opportunities and market gaps
- Inspire the team to exceed performance standards across all selling channels
- Partner with corporate teams to analyze market data and optimize sales strategies
- Champion Kate Spade's aesthetic and brand philosophy; maintain brand and operating standards throughout the store
- Execute visual merchandising directives and ensure an impeccable store environment
- Communicate sell-through data, stock trends, and customer feedback to corporate teams
- Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and facility security
- Manage staff schedules and payroll budgets; adjust staffing levels to meet business demands
- Ensure compliance with all policies, safety protocols, and loss prevention standards
- Support inventory management, cycle counts, and shipment accuracy
- Manage live stream shopping sessions and leverage social media trends to drive customer engagement
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of retail management experience in fashion, lifestyle, or comparable environment
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience with retail management systems
- Ability to analyze selling reports, identify trends, and respond quickly to market changes
- Strong English language proficiency
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally
- Ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver throughout sales floor and stockroom
- Flexibility to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and peak retail seasons
