Kate Spade in Thornton, CO seeks an Assistant Store Leader to drive omnichannel sales, lead the store team and manage operations at Denver Premium Outlets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Model and enforce Kate Spade service behaviors and selling standards to deliver a high-energy, client-focused retail environment.
- Drive omni-channel and virtual selling including clienteling, client outreach, loyalty program engagement and customer data capture to grow repeat business.
- Coach, recruit, onboard and develop a diverse retail team; manage performance, set goals and review KPIs (traffic, conversion, UPT, AUR).
- Act as Store Leader in their absence and foster an inclusive, motivating culture that supports retention and development.
- Own store sales plans, forecasts and action plans; analyse market and sell-through data and adapt strategies in partnership with corporate teams.
- Maintain brand and visual merchandising standards; execute visual directives and communicate stock trends and customer feedback.
- Oversee operational tasks including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, facility security, scheduling, payroll budgeting and loss prevention.
- Support inventory management, cycle counts and shipment accuracy; leverage live stream shopping and social trends to drive engagement.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of retail management experience in fashion, lifestyle or a comparable customer-facing environment. Combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Proven leadership, communication and organisational capabilities with experience coaching to measurable results.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook; experience with retail systems.
- Strong analytical aptitude to interpret selling reports, identify trends and respond quickly.
- Strong English language proficiency.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and perform physical duties on the sales floor and stockroom.

Experience
At least 2 years of retail management experience in a fashion or lifestyle environment; demonstrated success meeting sales KPIs and leading frontline teams.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant post-secondary education or a combination of education and retail leadership experience will be considered.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 18.50 to USD 31.50 per hour.
