Kate Spade hiring Assistant Store Leader in Sunrise, FL (Sawgrass Mills) — lead sales, coach teams and drive omni-channel performance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Partner with the Store Leader to maximize store productivity and profitability through leadership, coaching and operational rigor.
- Model and drive Kate Spade service behaviours and selling standards across the sales floor; lead omni-channel and virtual selling initiatives and clienteling.
- Coach, develop and onboard diverse retail talent; set goals, review KPIs (traffic, conversion, UPT, AUR) and manage performance.
- Act as Store Leader in their absence and foster an inclusive, motivating culture that supports authentic employee engagement.
- Own store sales plans and forecasts; create and execute action plans to address business opportunities and sales trends.
- Maintain brand and visual merchandising standards; execute visual directives and communicate sell-through and customer feedback.
- Oversee operational processes including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, schedule and payroll management, loss prevention and inventory accuracy.
- Leverage social media trends and manage live stream shopping sessions to drive client engagement and sales.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of retail management experience in fashion, lifestyle or a comparable environment; combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop frontline employees; strong interpersonal and performance-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; experience with retail POS and store systems.
- Ability to analyze selling reports, identify trends and translate insights into rapid operational or commercial actions.
- Flexible availability to work nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays; ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs).
Skills
Experience
At least 2 years of retail management experience in fashion, lifestyle or a comparable customer-facing environment. Demonstrated track record of coaching teams to sales targets and managing store operations.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or degree preferred. A combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.

This position is based in Sunrise, Florida, USA, within easy reach of Miami.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 18.50 to USD 31.50 per hour.
