Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and model Kate Spade service standards on the sales floor, driving a high‑energy, client‑focused environment.
  • Execute omni‑channel and virtual selling strategies, including clienteling, outreach, loyalty engagement and live stream shopping sessions.
  • Coach, recruit, onboard and develop store associates; manage performance and foster an inclusive, motivating culture.
  • Own store sales plans, forecasts and action plans; monitor KPIs (traffic, conversion, UPT, AUR) and coach the team to results.
  • Act as Store Leader in their absence, ensuring continuity of leadership, operational discipline and customer experience.
  • Maintain brand and visual merchandising standards; execute visual directives and communicate sell‑through and stock trends.
  • Oversee operational excellence: opening/closing procedures, cash handling, scheduling and payroll management, loss prevention, inventory control and shipment accuracy.
  • Build community networks to support recruiting and local brand awareness; capture customer data to support marketing and repeat business.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years' retail management experience in fashion, lifestyle or a comparable environment; a combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Proven leadership, communication and organisational capability with experience coaching to KPI outcomes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; experience with retail POS and inventory systems.
  • Ability to analyse selling reports, identify trends, and implement timely corrective actions.
  • Flexible availability to work nights, weekends, peak retail seasons and public holidays.
  • Ability to lift regularly 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs) and perform routine stockroom and floor tasks.
