Kate Spade New York seeks an Assistant Store Leader in Orlando, FL to drive sales, lead teams, and elevate retail excellence.
Role & Responsibilities
- Model Kate Spade service behaviors and selling standards; lead a high-energy, client-focused sales floor environment
- Drive omni-channel and virtual selling; ensure clienteling through client books, outreach, and loyalty programs
- Empower the team to personalize customer experiences and resolve issues effectively; lead customer data capture for marketing and repeat business
- Recruit, onboard, and develop diverse talent; provide coaching and manage underperformance
- Set clear performance goals and review KPIs (traffic, conversion, UPT, AUR); coach team members to achieve results
- Act as Store Leader in their absence; foster an inclusive, motivating culture
- Own store sales plans and forecasts; create action plans to address business opportunities and inspire team performance
- Partner with corporate teams to analyze market data and optimize retail strategies
- Champion Kate Spade's aesthetic and philosophy; maintain brand and operating standards through visual directives
- Execute opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and facility security protocols
- Manage schedules and payroll budgets; adjust staffing to meet business needs
- Ensure compliance with policies, safety protocols, and loss prevention standards
- Support inventory management, cycle counts, and shipment accuracy
- Manage live stream shopping sessions and leverage social media trends to drive customer engagement
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of retail management experience in fashion, lifestyle, or comparable luxury environment
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience with retail management systems
- Demonstrated ability to analyze selling reports, identify trends, and respond with agility
- Strong English language proficiency
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally); capability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak busy seasons, and public holidays
Skills
Experience
2+ years of retail management experience in fashion, lifestyle, or comparable luxury environment. A combination of equivalent education and relevant experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; a combination of relevant education and experience in retail management will be considered.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 18.50 to USD 31.50 per hour.
