Kate Spade Assistant Store Leader - Orlando, Florida. Lead retail operations, drive sales, and develop teams at our Vineland Premium Outlets location.
Role & Responsibilities
- Model Kate Spade service behaviors and selling standards; establish and maintain a high-energy, client-focused environment on the sales floor
- Drive omni-channel and virtual selling initiatives, leveraging clienteling through client books, outreach campaigns, and loyalty programs to build repeat business
- Empower and coach the sales team to personalize client experiences and resolve customer issues effectively; lead customer data capture to support marketing initiatives
- Recruit, onboard, and develop diverse talent; provide coaching, establish clear KPIs (traffic, conversion, units per transaction, average unit retail), and manage underperformance
- Act as Store Leader in their absence; foster an inclusive, motivating workplace culture and build community networks to support recruiting and brand awareness
- Own store sales plans and forecasts; create action plans to address business opportunities and inspire the team to exceed performance standards across all selling channels
- Partner with corporate teams to analyze market data, optimize selling strategies, and communicate sell-through trends and customer feedback
- Champion Kate Spade's aesthetic and brand philosophy; execute visual merchandising directives and maintain impeccable store environment standards
- Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash handling, facility security, and compliance with policies, safety, and loss prevention standards
- Manage schedules and payroll budgets; adjust staffing levels to align with business needs and manage live stream shopping sessions and social media engagement activities
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of retail management experience in fashion, lifestyle retail, or comparable environment
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; demonstrated experience with retail systems and point-of-sale platforms
- Proven ability to analyze selling reports, identify trends, and react quickly to market conditions
- Strong English language proficiency
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak season, and high-traffic retail days including public holidays
- Physical ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally); ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver the sales floor and stockroom
Skills
Experience
Minimum 2+ years of retail management experience in a fashion or lifestyle retail environment, or equivalent experience in a comparable customer-facing leadership role. Experience with omni-channel and virtual selling is preferred. Strong track record of leading and developing diverse teams, driving sales performance, and maintaining operational excellence.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent. A combination of relevant education and retail management experience will be considered.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 18.50 to USD 31.50 per hour.
