Role & Responsibilities
- Model Kate Spade service behaviors and selling standards; create and maintain a high-energy, client-focused sales floor environment
- Drive omni-channel and virtual selling initiatives; ensure personalized clienteling through client books, outreach, and loyalty program engagement
- Empower team members to personalize customer experiences and resolve issues effectively; lead customer data capture for marketing and repeat business
- Recruit, onboard, and develop diverse talent; provide coaching, manage underperformance, and foster an inclusive, motivating culture
- Set clear performance goals and review KPIs including traffic, conversion, units per transaction, and average unit retail; coach team to results
- Act as Store Leader during their absence; build community networks to support recruiting and brand awareness
- Own store sales plans and forecasts; create action plans to address business opportunities and inspire team performance across all selling channels
- Partner with corporate teams to analyze market data, optimize strategies, and communicate sell-through and stock trends
- Champion Kate Spade's aesthetic and brand philosophy; maintain brand and operating standards through visual directives and impeccable store environment
- Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash handling, facility security, and compliance with policies and safety standards
- Manage staff schedules and payroll budgets; adjust staffing levels to meet business needs and seasonal fluctuations
- Support inventory management, cycle counts, and shipment accuracy; ensure loss prevention standards are met
- Manage live stream shopping sessions and leverage social media trends to drive customer engagement and sales
Qualifications
- 2+ years of retail management experience in fashion, lifestyle, or comparable retail environment
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience with retail management systems
- Ability to analyze selling reports, identify trends, and respond quickly to market changes
- Strong English language proficiency
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally; ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom environments
- Flexibility to work variable schedules including nights, weekends, peak seasons, and public holidays

Experience
2+ years of retail management experience in fashion, lifestyle merchandising, or a comparable retail environment. Combination of education and equivalent professional experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher in business, retail management, or related field preferred.
