Kate Spade Assistant Store Leader — Orlando, FL. Full-time retail manager role driving omni-channel sales, team development and brand standards.
Role & Responsibilities
- Partner with the Store Leader to maximize store productivity and profitability through leadership, coaching and operational discipline.
- Model and enforce Kate Spade service behaviors and selling standards; set a client-focused tone on the sales floor.
- Drive omni‑channel and virtual selling, including clienteling activities (client books, outreach, loyalty programs) and live stream shopping sessions.
- Recruit, onboard and develop diverse retail talent; provide ongoing coaching, manage performance and act as Store Leader in their absence.
- Own store sales plans and forecasts; monitor KPIs (traffic, conversion, UPT, AUR), analyze selling reports and implement action plans.
- Champion brand and visual standards; execute visual directives and communicate sell‑through and stock trends to corporate teams.
- Oversee store operations including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, facility security, inventory controls and cycle counts.
- Manage scheduling and payroll budgets; ensure compliance with safety, loss prevention and company policy.
- Leverage social media trends to drive engagement and community awareness; build local networks to support recruiting and brand presence.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of retail management experience in fashion, lifestyle or a comparable environment (combination of education and experience considered).
- Demonstrated leadership, coaching and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and motivate diverse teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; experience with retail systems and reporting tools.
- Strong analytical capability to interpret selling reports, identify trends and react quickly with corrective actions.
- Excellent verbal communication in English and a customer-focused mindset; flexible availability including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), climb, bend, kneel and navigate sales floor and stockroom environments.
Skills
Experience
At least 2 years of retail management experience in a fashion, lifestyle, or comparable retail environment. Demonstrated record of coaching teams, achieving sales targets and managing store operations.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or coursework in business/retail management preferred. A combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 18.50 to USD 31.50 per hour.
