Kate Spade New York is hiring an Assistant Store Leader in Orlando, FL at Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets — lead store operations, coaching and omni‑channel sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and model Kate Spade service behaviours and selling standards to create a high-energy, client-focused store environment.
- Drive omni-channel and virtual selling, including clienteling, outreach, loyalty-program engagement and live-stream shopping sessions.
- Coach, recruit, onboard and develop diverse retail talent; set goals, monitor KPIs (traffic, conversion, UPT, AUR) and manage performance.
- Own store sales plans and forecasts; create action plans to address business opportunities and partner with corporate teams to analyse market data.
- Maintain brand and visual standards; execute visual directives and communicate sell-through, stock trends and customer feedback.
- Oversee operational excellence: opening/closing procedures, cash handling, scheduling and payroll budget management, inventory accuracy, safety and loss prevention.
- Represent the Store Leader in their absence and build community networks to support recruiting and brand awareness.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of retail management experience in fashion, lifestyle or a comparable environment; combinations of education and experience will be considered.
- Proven ability to coach and develop sales teams and to manage underperformance.
- Strong communication and organisational skills with the capacity to set clear goals and deliver results against KPIs.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
- Ability to lift regularly at least 25 lbs (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and to climb, bend, kneel and manoeuvre across sales floor and stockroom.
Skills
Experience
At least 2 years of retail management experience in fashion, lifestyle or a related consumer-facing environment, with demonstrated success in driving sales and developing teams.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, retail management or a related field preferred but not mandatory — combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 18.50 to USD 31.50 per hour.
