Role & Responsibilities
- Model Kate Spade service behaviors and selling standards; lead a high-energy, client-focused environment on the sales floor
- Drive omni-channel and virtual selling initiatives; ensure clienteling through client books, outreach programs, and loyalty initiatives
- Recruit, onboard, and develop diverse talent; provide coaching and manage underperformance across the team
- Set clear performance goals and coach to KPIs including traffic, conversion, units per transaction (UPT), and average unit retail (AUR)
- Act as Store Leader in their absence and foster an inclusive, motivating organizational culture
- Own store sales plans and forecasts; create action plans to address business opportunities and market trends
- Champion Kate Spade's aesthetic and visual standards; execute visual directives and maintain an impeccable store environment
- Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash handling, facility security, and inventory management systems
- Manage staff schedules and payroll budgets; adjust staffing levels to align with business demand
- Manage live stream shopping sessions and leverage social media trends to drive customer engagement and brand awareness
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of retail management experience in fashion, lifestyle, or comparable luxury retail environment
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience with retail point-of-sale and inventory management systems
- Ability to analyze selling reports, identify trends, and react quickly to market conditions
- Strong English language proficiency
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly (up to 50 lbs. occasionally); ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
Skills
Experience
Minimum 2+ years of retail management experience in fashion, lifestyle, or comparable luxury retail environment. A combination of relevant education and professional experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree or higher education in business, retail management, or a related field preferred.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Novi, Michigan, USA, with easy access to Detroit.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 18.50 to USD 31.50 per hour.
