Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Leader in driving store sales and achieving weekly/monthly KPIs through effective team leadership and execution of commercial initiatives.
- Lead, coach and develop sales associates to deliver exceptional clienteling, upselling and conversion; conduct regular on-floor training and performance feedback.
- Ensure flawless execution of visual merchandising, shop floor standards and product presentation in line with brand guidelines.
- Manage daily store operations including staff scheduling, opening/closing procedures, cash handling, POS reconciliation and loss-prevention protocols.
- Oversee inventory control activities: receiving, stockroom organisation, cycle counts and shrink minimisation.
- Act as an escalated point of contact for customer queries, returns and service recovery while protecting brand reputation.
- Implement promotional campaigns, product launches and local marketing activities in coordination with corporate directives.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in retail, with a track record of meeting sales targets and developing sales teams.
- Strong commercial acumen and numeracy; able to analyse basic sales metrics and translate them into on-floor actions.
- Excellent interpersonal and clienteling skills with a customer-first orientation appropriate to a premium lifestyle brand.
- Flexible availability for retail hours including evenings, weekends and holiday trading.
- Ability to maintain exacting standards of presentation, visual merchandising and operational compliance.
Experience
Typically 2+ years of progressive retail experience, including frontline supervisory or assistant management responsibilities; previous experience in fashion, accessories or luxury/accessible-luxury retail is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business, retail management, hospitality or related field preferred.
