Role & Responsibilities

  • Model Kate Spade service behaviors and selling standards; lead a high-energy, client-focused sales environment
  • Drive omni-channel and virtual selling initiatives; manage clienteling through client books, personalized outreach, and loyalty program engagement
  • Empower the team to personalize customer experiences and resolve issues effectively; lead customer data capture to support marketing and repeat business
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop diverse talent; provide coaching, manage underperformance, and act as Store Leader in their absence
  • Set clear performance goals, review KPIs (traffic, conversion, UPT, AUR), and coach the team to achieve or exceed targets
  • Own store sales plans and forecasts; create action plans to address business opportunities and partner with corporate teams on market analysis
  • Champion Kate Spade's aesthetic and brand philosophy; execute visual directives and maintain impeccable operating standards
  • Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash handling, facility security, and compliance with loss prevention standards
  • Manage schedules, payroll budgets, and staffing allocation to meet business needs; build community networks to support recruiting
  • Support inventory management, cycle counts, and shipment accuracy; manage live stream shopping sessions and leverage social media trends for engagement

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of retail management experience in fashion, lifestyle, or comparable environments
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience with retail management systems
  • Ability to analyze selling reports, identify trends, and respond with agility
  • Strong English language proficiency
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally); capability to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom environments
