Role & Responsibilities

  • Model and enforce Kate Spade service behaviors and selling standards to sustain a high-energy, client-focused sales floor.
  • Drive omni-channel and virtual selling initiatives including clienteling, loyalty outreach, and digital appointments to maximize lifetime value.
  • Coach, recruit, onboard and develop a diverse retail team; manage performance, set clear goals and review KPIs (traffic, conversion, UPT, AUR).
  • Own store sales planning and forecasting; create and execute action plans to capitalize on business opportunities and exceed targets.
  • Champion brand aesthetic and visual merchandising; execute visual directives and communicate sell-through and customer feedback to merchandising teams.
  • Oversee store operations including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, payroll and schedule management, inventory control and loss prevention.
  • Leverage social commerce—including live stream shopping—and social media trends to increase engagement and drive sales.
  • Act as Store Leader in their absence and cultivate an inclusive, motivating culture that supports associate wellbeing and development.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of retail management experience in fashion, lifestyle, or a comparable retail environment; combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Proven leadership, communication and organizational capabilities with a track record of coaching to results.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; experience with store/retail systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze selling reports, identify trends and implement corrective actions rapidly.
  • Strong English language proficiency.
  • Capacity to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays.
  • Physical ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), and to climb, bend, kneel and navigate sales floor and stockroom.

Experience

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 18.50 to USD 31.50 per hour.
