Role & Responsibilities

  • Model Kate Spade service behaviors and selling standards; lead a high-energy, client-focused sales floor environment
  • Drive omni-channel and virtual selling initiatives; maintain clienteling through client books, outreach, and loyalty programs
  • Empower team members to personalize customer experiences and resolve issues effectively
  • Lead customer data capture initiatives to support marketing efforts and repeat business generation
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop diverse talent; provide coaching and manage performance gaps
  • Set clear performance goals, monitor KPIs (traffic, conversion, units per transaction, average unit retail), and coach team to results
  • Act as Store Leader in their absence; foster an inclusive and motivating workplace culture
  • Build community networks to support recruiting and brand awareness initiatives
  • Own store sales plans and forecasts; create action plans to address business opportunities
  • Inspire team to exceed performance standards across all selling channels
  • Partner with corporate teams to analyze market data and optimize strategies

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of retail management experience in fashion, lifestyle, or comparable environment
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience with retail point-of-sale and management systems
  • Ability to analyze selling reports, identify trends, and react quickly to market changes
  • Strong English language proficiency
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly (up to 50 lbs. occasionally)
  • Ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom areas
  • Flexible schedule availability to work nights, weekends, peak seasons, and public holidays
