Role & Responsibilities

  • Model Kate Spade service behaviors and selling standards; lead a high-energy, client-focused environment on the sales floor
  • Drive omni-channel and virtual selling capabilities; ensure clienteling through client books, outreach, and loyalty programs
  • Empower team members to personalize customer experiences and resolve issues effectively
  • Lead customer data capture initiatives to support marketing campaigns and repeat business
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop diverse talent; provide coaching and manage underperformance
  • Set clear performance goals, review key performance indicators (traffic, conversion, units per transaction, average unit retail), and coach team members to achieve results

  • Own store sales plans and forecasts; create action plans to address business opportunities and market gaps
  • Inspire the team to exceed performance standards across all selling channels
  • Partner with corporate teams to analyze market data and optimize merchandising and sales strategies

  • Communicate sell-through, stock trends, and customer feedback to drive continuous improvements

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of retail management experience in fashion, lifestyle, or comparable environment
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience with retail point-of-sale systems and analytics platforms
  • Ability to analyze selling reports, identify trends, and react quickly to market conditions
  • Strong English language proficiency
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly (up to 50 lbs. occasionally)
  • Ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom environments
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, peak seasons, and public holidays
