Role & Responsibilities
- Model Kate Spade service behaviors and selling standards to create a high-energy, client-focused environment
- Drive omni-channel and virtual selling initiatives; manage clienteling through client books, outreach, and loyalty programs
- Empower team members to personalize customer experiences and resolve issues effectively while leading customer data capture to support marketing efforts
- Recruit, onboard, and develop diverse talent; provide coaching and performance management with clear goal-setting around KPIs (traffic, conversion, UPT, AUR)
- Act as Store Leader during their absence; foster an inclusive and motivating culture while building community networks for recruiting
- Own store sales plans, forecasts, and action planning; inspire the team to exceed performance standards across all channels
- Champion Kate Spade's aesthetic and philosophy; execute visual directives and maintain brand and operating standards
- Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash handling, facility security, and compliance with loss prevention standards
- Manage schedules, payroll budgets, and staffing adjustments to align with business needs
- Manage live stream shopping sessions and leverage social media trends to drive customer engagement
Qualifications
- 2+ years of retail management experience in fashion, lifestyle, or comparable environment
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience with retail systems
- Ability to analyze selling reports, identify trends, and react quickly to market dynamics
- Strong English language proficiency
- Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally; capable of climbing, bending, kneeling, and maneuvering sales floor and stockroom areas
