Kate Spade New York seeks an Assistant Store Leader at Northpark in Dallas, TX. Lead retail operations, team development, and omni-channel sales. $18.50–$31.50/hr, full-time.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Model Kate Spade Service behaviors and selling standards; lead a high-energy, client-focused environment on the sales floor
  • Drive omni-channel and virtual selling initiatives; ensure clienteling through client books, outreach, and loyalty programs
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop diverse talent; provide coaching and manage underperformance to foster an inclusive culture
  • Set clear goals and review KPIs (traffic, conversion, UPT, AUR); coach team members to results
  • Own store sales plans and forecasts; create action plans to address business opportunities and exceed performance standards
  • Champion Kate Spade's aesthetic and philosophy; execute visual directives and maintain impeccable store environment standards
  • Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash handling, facility security, and inventory management including cycle counts and shipment accuracy
  • Manage schedules and payroll budgets; adjust staffing to meet business needs
  • Ensure compliance with policies, safety, loss prevention standards, and conduct live stream shopping sessions to drive engagement

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of retail management experience in fashion, lifestyle, or comparable environment
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience with retail systems
  • Ability to analyze selling reports, identify trends, and react quickly to market conditions
  • Strong English language proficiency
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly (up to 50 lbs. occasionally); capability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
