Role & Responsibilities

  • Model Kate Spade Service behaviors and selling standards; lead a high-energy, client-focused environment on the sales floor
  • Drive omni-channel and virtual selling initiatives; ensure clienteling through client books, outreach programs, and loyalty platforms
  • Empower the team to personalize customer experiences and resolve issues effectively; lead customer data capture to support marketing and repeat business
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop diverse talent; provide coaching, manage performance, and foster an inclusive, motivating culture
  • Set clear goals and monitor KPIs (traffic, conversion, units per transaction, average unit retail); coach the team to results
  • Act as Store Leader in their absence; serve as a bridge between corporate and store-level operations
  • Own store sales plans and forecasts; create action plans to address business opportunities and market data analysis
  • Champion Kate Spade's aesthetic and philosophy; maintain brand and operating standards through visual directives and store environment excellence
  • Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and facility security; manage schedules, payroll budgets, and staffing allocation
  • Support inventory management, cycle counts, and shipment accuracy; ensure compliance with all policies, safety, and loss prevention standards
  • Manage live stream shopping sessions and leverage social media trends to drive customer engagement and sales

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of retail management experience in fashion, lifestyle, or comparable retail environment
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience with retail management systems and selling reports analysis
  • Ability to identify trends and react quickly to market changes
  • Strong English language proficiency
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally); able to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
