Role & Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Store Leader to maximize store productivity and profitability through strategic leadership, coaching, and operational excellence
  • Model Kate Spade service behaviors and selling standards while leading a high-energy, client-focused environment on the sales floor
  • Drive omni-channel and virtual selling initiatives; implement clienteling through client books, personalized outreach, and loyalty program engagement
  • Empower and coach team members to personalize customer experiences and resolve issues effectively; lead customer data capture to support marketing and repeat business
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop diverse talent; provide coaching, manage underperformance, and foster an inclusive, motivating team culture
  • Set clear performance goals, review KPIs (traffic, conversion, UPT, AUR), and coach team members to achieve or exceed targets
  • Act as Store Leader during their absence and build community networks to support recruiting and brand awareness
  • Own store sales plans and forecasts; create and execute action plans to address business opportunities and market gaps
  • Inspire the team to exceed performance standards across all selling channels; partner with corporate teams to analyze market data and optimize strategies
  • Champion Kate Spade's aesthetic and philosophy; maintain brand and operating standards through visual directives and impeccable store presentation
  • Communicate sell-through data, stock trends, and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement and business results
  • Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and facility security; ensure compliance with all policies, safety, and loss prevention standards
  • Manage staff schedules and payroll budgets; adjust staffing levels to align with business needs and seasonal fluctuations
  • Support inventory management, cycle counts, and shipment accuracy; manage live stream shopping sessions and leverage social media trends to drive customer engagement

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of retail management experience in fashion, lifestyle, or comparable retail environments
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving operational excellence in a team setting
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and retail management systems
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze selling reports, identify market trends, and implement strategic responses
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills with ability to manage diverse teams
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons, and public holidays
  • Physical capability to lift 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally; ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom

Experience
