Kate Spade New York seeks an Assistant Store Leader in Allen, Texas to drive retail operations, lead omni-channel sales, and develop store team. Full-time, $18.50–$31.50/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Model Kate Spade service behaviors and selling standards; lead a high-energy, client-focused sales floor environment
- Drive omni-channel and virtual selling initiatives; manage clienteling through client books, outreach, and loyalty programs
- Empower the team to personalize customer experiences and resolve issues effectively
- Lead customer data capture and management to support marketing initiatives and repeat business
- Recruit, onboard, and develop diverse talent; provide coaching and address underperformance
- Set clear performance goals, review key metrics (traffic, conversion, units per transaction, average unit retail), and coach team members to results
- Act as Store Leader in their absence and foster an inclusive, motivating culture
- Own store sales plans and forecasts; create action plans to capitalize on business opportunities
- Inspire the team to exceed performance standards across all selling channels
- Champion Kate Spade's aesthetic and visual philosophy; maintain brand and operating standards
- Execute visual merchandising directives and ensure an impeccable store environment
- Communicate sell-through trends, stock levels, and customer feedback to corporate teams
- Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and facility security
- Manage staff schedules and payroll budgets; adjust staffing levels to match business demand
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety protocols, and loss prevention standards
- Support inventory management, cycle counts, and shipment accuracy
- Manage live stream shopping sessions and leverage social media trends to drive customer engagement
Qualifications
- 2+ years of retail management experience in fashion, lifestyle, or comparable retail environments
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience with retail systems
- Ability to analyze selling reports, identify trends, and respond quickly to market changes
- Strong English language proficiency
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver the sales floor and stockroom
Skills
Experience
2+ years of retail management experience in a fashion, lifestyle, or comparable retail environment. A combination of relevant education and professional experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; a combination of education and retail management experience will be considered.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 18.50 to USD 31.50 per hour.
