Role & Responsibilities

  • Model and uphold Kate Spade service behaviors and selling standards, setting the tone for a high-energy, client-focused retail environment
  • Drive omni-channel and virtual selling initiatives; lead clienteling efforts through client books, personalized outreach, and loyalty program engagement
  • Empower the sales team to personalize customer experiences and resolve issues effectively while capturing customer data to support marketing and repeat business
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop diverse talent; provide ongoing coaching, set clear performance goals, and manage underperformance with accountability
  • Monitor and review key performance indicators including traffic, conversion rates, units per transaction (UPT), and average unit retail (AUR), coaching the team to exceed targets
  • Act as Store Leader in their absence, fostering an inclusive and motivating workplace culture that enables associates to thrive
  • Own store sales plans and forecasts; develop and execute action plans to capitalize on business opportunities and market trends
  • Champion Kate Spade's brand aesthetic and operating standards; execute visual directives and maintain an impeccable store environment
  • Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash handling, facility security, and compliance with loss prevention standards
  • Manage staff schedules and payroll budgets, adjusting staffing levels to meet fluctuating business needs
  • Support inventory management activities, cycle counts, and shipment accuracy; communicate stock trends and customer feedback to corporate teams
  • Manage live stream shopping sessions and leverage social media trends to drive customer engagement and sales

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of retail management experience in fashion, lifestyle, or comparable environment
  • Proven track record of strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and retail management systems
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze selling reports, identify trends, and respond quickly to market changes
  • Strong English language proficiency
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally; capable of climbing, bending, kneeling, and maneuvering throughout sales floor and stockroom
