Acting Supervisor I position at Kate Spade New York Woodbury outlet. Lead retail operations, manage team performance, $16.00–$23.75/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise sales floor and stockroom operations
- Manage and coordinate team performance to exceed sales targets
- Ensure compliance with company policies, merchandising standards, and brand guidelines
- Train and develop team members on product knowledge and customer service excellence
- Monitor inventory management and stock organization
- Maintain visual merchandising and store cleanliness standards
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism
- Support opening and closing procedures
- Report operational metrics and team performance to management
Qualifications
- Proven retail or supervisory experience
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally)
- Physical capability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
- Customer service excellence
- Cash handling and point-of-sale proficiency
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and holidays as needed
Skills
Experience
Retail or supervisory experience in a fast-paced retail environment, preferably in fashion, accessories, or luxury goods. Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive sales performance.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; retail management certification or related coursework preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 16 to USD 23.75 per hour.
