Kate Spade — Acting Store Supervisor (part-time) in Toronto, ON. Lead sales, coach staff, and drive omni‑channel customer engagement.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as a brand ambassador and set the tone on the sales floor by modeling service excellence and selling behaviours.
  • Drive personal sales and lead the store team to meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs; analyse performance metrics and implement improvements.
  • Build and maintain client relationships through proactive outreach, VIP retention strategies and exemplary after-sales service.
  • Coach, mentor and develop store staff; support recruitment, onboarding and ongoing training; provide performance feedback to store leadership.
  • Manage opening and closing procedures, cash handling, bank deposits, register operations and key-holding responsibilities.
  • Oversee POS transactions and inventory functions (receiving, transfers, shipments, repairs, damages) to preserve inventory integrity.
  • Maintain an organised stockroom and ensure timely replenishment to the sales floor.
  • Lead omni-channel and virtual selling initiatives, support live-stream shopping, encourage brand-safe social media engagement and capture customer data to grow loyalty.
  • Ensure adherence to brand standards, operational policies and a safe, inclusive workplace.
  • Work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays; perform regular physical tasks including lifting up to 25 lbs (up to 50 lbs occasionally).

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a retail service environment in a management or floor leadership role; luxury or premium retail experience preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with professional customer-facing presence.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, able to multi-task and prioritise in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Social media literacy and an understanding of platform trends.
  • Comfortable using omni-channel/virtual selling tools and clienteling systems.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and meet physical demands of the role.
  • Combination of education and experience will be considered.

Experience
