Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach store sales associates on the sales floor and ensure exceptional customer service and adherence to brand standards.
  • Drive sales performance and conversion through effective team management, visual merchandising, and customer engagement.
  • Oversee daily store operations including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, POS reconciliation and loss-prevention practices.
  • Manage inventory movement between sales floor and stockroom, including receiving, restocking and cycle counts; regularly lift up to 25 lbs (and up to 50 lbs occasionally).
  • Execute visual merchandising directives and maintain presentation standards to maximize product sell-through.
  • Support scheduling, performance feedback and development of direct reports; act decisively to resolve floor-level issues and customer escalations.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop retail teams with clear, actionable feedback.
  • Strong customer-focus and interpersonal skills; able to diffuse high-tension situations and build customer trust.
  • Physical capability to climb, bend, kneel and regularly lift up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs).
  • Flexible availability including weekends, peak seasonal periods and holiday shifts.
  • Comfort with operating point-of-sale systems, cash handling and basic store administrative tasks.

Experience

Minimum of 2 years of retail experience, with prior supervisory, lead or assistant manager responsibilities preferred; experience in premium or lifestyle retail environments is advantageous.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
