Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and coach store sales associates to achieve daily and monthly sales targets and key performance indicators.
- Oversee store operations including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, point-of-sale transactions and visual merchandising standards.
- Manage staffing and scheduling to ensure optimal coverage; provide on-the-floor training and real-time feedback.
- Maintain inventory accuracy, assist with receiving and stockroom organization, and support loss-prevention procedures.
- Resolve customer escalations with professionalism; uphold the Kate Spade service experience and clienteling standards.
- Enforce brand presentation, housekeeping and safety standards across the sales floor and back-of-house.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally; ability to climb, bend, kneel and maneuver the sales floor and stockroom.
- Demonstrated leadership capability with a calm, decisive approach to coaching and conflict resolution.
- Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends, evenings and peak seasonal periods.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
Skills
Experience
Typically 1+ years of supervisory or lead experience in retail, preferably within fashion or lifestyle brands; proven track record of meeting sales targets and developing front-line teams.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary coursework in business, retail management or fashion is advantageous but not mandatory.
